Mackie Control 1, I used to have one and it worked faultlessly with Logic X. The manual is no help. But the automap software is a good start point. It automatically maps vsts to the control surface. As a bonus you can also use it to control midi capable guitar pedals. I have mine hooked up to my moog. The Slate Raven is a good option for total tactile control but it's not to everyone's taste.
